Our hearts are heavy with the destruction hurricane Harvey has caused across the Texas Gulf Coast. As widely reported in the media, Houston’s Theater District suffered catastrophic flooding, with no theater untouched by flood water.
We feel fortunate to have been inundated with calls, texts and e-mails from colleagues and patrons across the US, asking how they can help. We have created this site to help our resident companies affected by hurricane Harvey. Your donation will support the efforts of Theater District Houston’s resident companies who are rebuilding after this unbelievable storm.
Thank you for your generosity and for your contribution.
ABOUT THEATER DISTRICT HOUSTON
Houston’s Theater District is an impressive cultural and entertainment center nestled in downtown Houston. The District features world-renowned resident companies performing all of the major performing arts disciplines — opera, ballet, music and theater — a distinction that only five American cities can claim. Together with many smaller organizations, the resident companies perform in five venues: Alley Theatre, Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Jones Hall for the Performing Arts, Revention Music Center and Wortham Theater Center.
